Students Advocate Prince’s Trust Achieve ProgrammeFebruary 28, 2017 12:08 pm
Ellis Guilford students met Elizabeth Fagan, Managing Director of Boots UK, plus other representatives from Boots and The Prince’s Trust to explain how skills learnt during the Prince’s Trust Achieve programme have benefitted them.
The students were invited to the meeting, held at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground, by The Prince’s Trust to speak about the Achieve programme which has run for the past three years here at Ellis Guilford.
Year 10 students Daniel and Ryan spoke about a film workshop they were involved in as part of last year’s curriculum and gave insights into the course as a whole. Chloe in Year 9 was invited to give her views as a current students, as she is studying the course at present.
The students represented the school and the Achieve programme admirably and were praised for their public speaking skills.
