Encouraging all students to be their best is something that is essential to everybody’s role at Ellis Guilford. To ensure that all new staff are also able to be their best we offer a series of induction sessions that make the transition to working at the school as smooth as possible. We understand that all schools are different and therefore feel it is important to offer this induction process to all new members of staff.
Continuous Professional Development offered at the school is of a high quality and means that staff are encouraged to progress both in their quality of teaching and career. Linked to this, we are able to offer the opportunity for staff to skip pay grades if they are able to produce evidence against certain criteria. It was hugely rewarding when the hard work of Ellis Guilford staff was highlighted when the school became good on the OFSTED framework. The journey to outstanding is even more exciting to be part of.
