Our Own EU Referendum

June 23, 2016 2:23 pm

Ellis Guilford students have voted that the UK should remain in the European Union, with 61% of our voters opting for remain and 39% leave.

In the run up to the European Union referendum, the students have been weighing up both sides of the debate. They have been discussing this issue during lessons, tutor time and in special assemblies.

Today, every student was given a ballot paper and the chance to take part in a vote during break time. The turnout was 66% of the student population who chose to cast their vote and make their voices heard.
