We aim to provide all of our students with a rich, rewarding and highly personalised education. Our Guidance and Support system provides every student with the care and support which will enable each individual to achieve success, whatever their ability, interest or needs. Each student is a member of a tutor group and will normally remain with their tutor for the full five years at Ellis Guilford. This enables students to build a strong relationship with their tutor, as well as belonging to a wider year group.

At a year group level, the Year Manager has responsibility for the well-being of each individual student, including tracking individual progress across the curriculum, so that each student reaches the highest possible standard of attainment.

Year 7 is led by Mrs L Kirkham (Year Manager). The Year Manager for Year 8 is Mr P Collins and Mr J Mulder Year Manager for Year 9. Years 7, 8 and 9 are led operationally by Mr J Thorn (Assistant Head for Key Stage 3).

Ms Greenshields is Year Manager for Year 10 and Mr D Coleman for Year 11. Both years 10 and 11 are led operationally by Mrs C Eaton (Assistant Head for Key Stage 4).
